Call to Order: by the Chair Wayne McCauley at 8:30 p.m.

Vice Chair: Short Course Meters: Turkey Shoot at Pierce College November 21, Southwest Zone SCM Championship hosted by the Long Beach Grunions December 4, 5, & 6. ,12^th Annual Holiday Invitational December 10,11& 12., Short Course Yards season for 2005: Las Vegas Saturday January 15, El Segundo – Saturday, January 29, Santa Clarita Saturday February 12, Cal Tech Pentathlon Sunday March 6, Mission Viejo Sunday March 20, UCLA Saturday April 2, Loyola Marymount Sunday April 17. Bids are still open for SCY Regionals. SCY USMS Nationals May 19-22, in Ft. Lauderdale.

Secretary’s report: Michael Collins, Trisha Commons, Errol Graham, Julie Heather, Michael Heather, Mary Hull, Wayne McCauley, Mark Moore, Jeff Moxie, Sergio Rodriguez, Steve Schofield, Jessica Seaton, Shannon Sullivan, Tom Trapp, Bekah Wright, Tom Boyd, Lucy Johnson and Connie Barrett are eligible for the awards that come to those who attend more than half of the year’s LMSC’s committee meetings. This year to be eligible one needed to attend at least three of the last six meetings. The awards include next years registration fee, entry fees to three local SPMA regional championships and the entry fees to the two USMS National Championships.

Treasurer’s report: The treasurer’s report was submitted in writing and it is included in these minutes.

Registrar’s report: Julie submitted her report in writing and it is included in these minutes. MSP to raise the cost of our video rental fees. The new fees will be $7 for one tape or DVD, $10 for two, and $12 for three.

Fitness: It is recommended that you check out the USMS website.

Next Meeting: Conference call on January 13 (Thursday) at 8:00pm

At January’s meeting we will be starting the nomination process for SPMA’s convention delegates.
