Registrar’s report:  Julie submitted her report in writing and it is included in these minutes.  MSP that those people who register after September 1st and pay $35.00 instead of $25.00 will have that $10.00 applied to the following year’s registration rather than issuing a $10.00 refund.  The new USMS publication company (Douglas Murphy Publications) has not yet finalized their contract with USMS.  Because USMS does not have a contract in place yet, Douglas Murphy Publications will not write SPMA a contract (for our newsletter insert) until that happens.  We anticipate a contract being finalized soon.  Our prospected cost would be $2.10 an issue.

Old Business: Steve is still looking into purchasing awnings.

New Business:  MSP to submit Steve Schofield for the Ransom Arthur award.

USMS convention delegate nominations are as follows: Errol Graham, Trisha Commons, Julie Heather, Tom Trapp, Wayne McCauley, Mike Collins, Tom Boyd, Jeff Moxie, Connie Barrett, and Mark Moore.  MSP to close nominations for SPMA delegates on March 1, 2005.  Those that have been nominated need to write one paragraph as to why they wish to represent SPMA at the USMS convention as well as submitting a brief resume.  The automatic delegates for this year’s convention are as follows:  Steve Schofield, Mary Hull, Jessica Seaton, Michael Heather, Lucy Johnson, and Shannon Sullivan.
