2009 Open Water Season
Season ends in September
Below is a preliminary listing of confirmed Open Water Swims. More will be added as swim coordinators firm up their dates. The websites cited confirm the dates and have further details.The Open Water races listed below are a part of the SPMA Ocean Series and are races sanctioned by SPMA for USMS. In order to provide USMS insurance coverage to swimmers and event hosts alike, sanctioned races are only open to swimmers registered with United States Masters Swimming. Points for these races will be kept and awards will be given to the top SPMA-registered swimmers in each age group at the end of the season.
